Description
This enamel badge shows the iconic Russian car the VAZ-2103. The VAZ-2103 came into production in 1972 and was a deluxe version of the VAZ-2101 sedan. It was based on the Fiat 124 Special and featured a new 1.5 L engine and twin headlights. Compared to the 2101 it had thicker-gauge steel for the bodyshell and an overhead camshaft engine. The “Volzhsky Avtomobilny Zavod” commonly traded under the name Lada and it was available to buy in the UK from May 1976 until May 1979.
