Environmental Policy

Although we are a small company we take our responsibility to the environment seriously. We try to source our items whilst in a country for another reason (holidays or work) and so any air miles or diesel train miles are shared.

We really want to use recycled packaging wherever possible and hope that you understand our reasons behind this. Buying brand new cardboard postal boxes when so many are left out on the street for the binmen to collect seems crazy to us and so we will reuse other people’s postal boxes and bubble wrap as much as possible. This will not have any effect on the lovely items within! And any items that come boxed (such as baubles) will be in pristine condition inside the recycled postal box.

Sometimes it may not be possible to source used postal boxes and on these occasions we will need to buy new boxes.  We ask that you the customer reuse these boxes for your own purposes. Reuse first, recycle if you must but never land fill.
