Shop Eastern Bloc was set up in 2010 by Jasia Warren. Being half Polish has meant a lifelong love of the Eastern Bloc and in particular traditional crafts and flea market finds. However, her reluctance to hoard often resulted in frustrated shopping trips to the far-flung “targ” or to village makers where beautiful and useful objects were seen but left behind. Her cunning plan was to set up a shop so she could share the unique finds with people back in the UK.

We hope you enjoy the eclectic collection of the wares on offer. They are a mixture of traditional folk art, found vintage objects and new manufacturing from Poland, Ukraine and Russia.
